Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
Sizes Matter ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by All Tech Masters Inc., 221 NE 32nd Ter., Homestead, FL 33033, USA. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, and the app has no ads.
What we collect
- Account: your mobile phone number (used to sign in and to keep one account per number) and the name you choose to show.
- What you save: profiles (for example a child's name and birth date, a home, a vehicle's year/make/model), items, sizes, brands, colors, notes and the photos you take or upload.
- Device information: device platform, app version, a random install identifier, push-notification token, Android ID on Android, and app-integrity results from Apple App Attest / DeviceCheck and Google Play Integrity. We use these only to keep accounts secure and to prevent referral-reward abuse.
- Usage: scans used, invites sent and accepted, alerts shown and tapped, and which shopping links you open.
How we use it
- To run the app: store your sizes, read photos you scan, share profiles you choose to share, and send reminders and alerts you turn on.
- To build the shared catalog: when you confirm a scanned product (for example an AC filter model or a battery type), the product's identity and size — never your name, profiles or photos — are saved so the next person gets an instant match. Clothing and shoe sizes are only matched by barcode.
- To prevent fraud and enforce scan and referral limits.
- To show shopping links. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through those links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Who processes your data
- Hosting: our servers run on Akamai Cloud (Linode) in the United States; nightly encrypted backups are kept on hardware we own.
- Network: Cloudflare protects and delivers our website and API.
- Text messages: verification codes are sent by Broadcastrr, our own messaging platform, through its phone carriers.
- Photo reading: photos you scan are sent to Anthropic's AI service to identify the item and size. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models.
- Push notifications: Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Retail partners: only if you turn on retailer data sharing in settings, and then only aggregated or de-identified information (for example "families with size 10 shoes in Miami"). This is off by default and you can turn it off at any time.
Sharing you control
When you share a profile, the people you invite can see that profile's items, sizes, favorite brands and colors, and the child's age (not the birth date). You choose view or edit access, can set an expiry, and can revoke any invite instantly. Anyone holding an active share link can view the profile in a web browser, so only send links to people you trust.
Children
Account holders must be 18 or older. Parents and guardians may create profiles for their children; the child does not use the app or provide information to us. Parents can edit or delete a child's profile at any time.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. Delete items, profiles or your whole account in the app or at sizesmatter.com/account. Account deletion removes your profiles, items, photos and shares immediately; copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 6 months. Product entries you contributed to the shared catalog contain no personal information and remain.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information, turn alerts and reminders on or off, and turn retailer data sharing on or off. Email [email protected] for help or any privacy request; we respond within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, servers are locked down to key-only access with firewalls, and backups are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away at the address above if you suspect a problem.
Changes
We'll post updates here and notify you in the app for material changes.
